Emergency First Response Course PLUS
This course (or an equivalent first aid certification within the last 2 years) is a prerequisite to training as a Rescue Diver.
Although this is a non-diving course, we make sure it's taught in a way that's very useful for divers! The training typically takes 2 days, and is more thorough than courses offered by our competitors, but for the same price - we want you to really know your stuff.
Training includes:
First Aid, including Primary and Secondary Care (covering many types of illness and injuries)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
Medical Oxygen administration
